The Baltimore Ravens found a gem in quarterback Lamar Jackson in the 2018 NFL draft. The former-league MVP has shattered numerous records across his four-year career in impressive fashion. Jackson’s latest record-breaking performance proved that all he knows how to do is win.

On Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, Jackson surpassed former quarterback Dan Marino for the most wins by a quarterback (35) before their 25th birthday.

Jackson notched the record on Sunday by throwing for 167 yards, a touchdown and rushing for 51 yards. It wasn’t his best performance of the season, but enough to get the job done.

Despite passing a Hall of Famer in the record books, Jackson acknowledged that the records are nothing compared to what he and the Ravens are working towards.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh also spoke with media on how he feels about his playmaking quarterback adding his name to yet another category in the record books.

This is not the first time this season Jackson has added a record to his growing resume. In Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts, Jackson became the first player in NFL history with 400 yards passing, 50 yards rushing and four TD passes with no interceptions in a single game.

The Ravens’ offense was gutted before the start of the season, as the team lost three running backs to season-ending injuries. What we’ve learned about Jackson through six games is that he can generate wins no matter what the circumstances are. He is a big reason why the Ravens now sit at 5-1 and lead the AFC North.

Through the first six games of the year, Jackson has 1,686 yards through the air and 392 yards rushing. The dual-threat quarterback continues to be a problem for opposing defenses, and he will look to continue his dominant start to the season as well as add honors to his ever-growing resume along the way.
