The Baltimore Ravens are in the middle of their second session of voluntary organized team activities, with many players in attendance to get work in with their teammates as well as their coaches. The 2022 season is approaching quickly, so every snap and every rep counts as chemistry builds.
Despite this being the second week of OTAs there are multiple Baltimore players who aren’t participating in the workouts, whether due to choice or because of injury. Headlining the list is quarterback Lamar Jackson, who wasn’t present at the first session either. The practices during OTAs are voluntary, so it is not required to participate.
Ravens have 73 of 90 on field for OTAs. Lamar Jackson heads list of 17 guys not participating. That list includes Fuller, Peters, Dobbins, A. Washington, Person, Edwards, Marshall, Bowser, Pierce, Cleveland, James, Moses, Stanley, Ojabo, Campbell, Wolfe.

Jackson’s absence from OTAs has caused quite the stir, but the point remains that the workouts are optional, and the quarterback has been working throughout the offseason at perfecting his game and making sure he can be the best player he can be. While it would be great if Jackson were getting reps in Baltimore with his teammates, he isn’t the only Ravens player to miss OTAs.
