The Baltimore Ravens drafted eight players in the 2021 NFL draft while also signing a plethora of undrafted rookie free agents. They feel good about the haul that they were able to come out of the draft process with, and the team should get plenty of contributions from their new young players.
Despite being able to acquire so much talent, Baltimore will have to let go of some of it due to only being allowed to have 53 players on their final roster. The Ravens announced their first cuts on Tuesday, waiving two of their undrafted rookies with an injury designation.
We have waived/injured DT Xavier Kelly and WR Donte Sylencieux.

Kelly accumulated 30 total tackles and 3.5 sacks in his four-year college career. He played his first three seasons at the University of Arkansas before finishing out his college career at the University of Clemson.
Sylencieux was the high school teammate of quarterback Lamar Jackson. The two played together Boynton Beach Community High School. The waived/injured designation means that they will revert to injured reserve if both clear waivers.
