The Ravens officially made five roster moves on Tuesday

The Baltimore Ravens have been shuffling their roster at certain positions over the course of the 2022 season. They’ve needed to bring in players to help rush the passer to cover in the secondary and more as they’ve been hit with a plethora of injuries so far throughout the year.

On Tuesday Baltimore made a plethora of moves, officially announcing five in total. They signed outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu and guard Zach Johnson to their practice squad, clearing room for the two by releasing cornerback T.J. Carrie and wide receiver Makai Polk from the practice squad. They also released cornerback Daryl Worley to the active roster.

Attaochu worked out for Baltimore on Monday, and the former second-round pick officially signed on Tuesday. He’s totaled 20.5 sacks in eight NFL seasons. Johnson went undrafted out of North Dakota State, and has spent time with both the Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos.

Worley spent part of the 2021 season with the Ravens’ organization, and was called up to the active roster before Baltimore’s Week 2 matchup with the Miami Dolphins. Carrie was signed to the Ravens’ practice squad a few weeks ago, while Polk signed with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State.
