The Baltimore Ravens are scheduled to have four picks on Day 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft and get some amazing steals in my latest mock draft

3rd round (No. 106): RB Cam Akers, FSU

I know fans hate the idea of drafting a running back but the Ravens really need to plan for the future. In Akers, Baltimore gets a player who could start immediately but will be the replacement for Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards as early as 2021.

Akers has good size at 5-foot-10 and 217 pounds, making him capable of running inside and pass blocking. But Akers has amazing burst and speed with the vision to make the most of it. He’s dangerous in the open field and he’s a capable receiving threat out of the backfield.

Like most running backs coming into the draft, Akers is a little less refined as a blocker. He also has some minor issues with fumbling that will need to be corrected before the notoriously tough John Harbaugh would let him have too big of a role. But a year behind Ingram should polish Akers the rest of the way and turn him into a three-down running back.
