Ravens kicker Justin Tucker won “AFC Special Teams Player of the Week” honors after his performance in Week 3

The Baltimore Ravens were able to pull off a 19-17 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 3 thanks in part to big performances from a few players. However, there wasn’t a player who meant more to the team on Sunday than kicker Justin Tucker, who sent an NFL-record 66-yard field goal through the uprights as time expired to secure the victory for Baltimore.

Tucker hit four-of-five field goals on the day, capped off with his game-winning 66-yard boot. The NFL recognized Tucker for his achievements in Week 3, giving him the “AFC Special Teams Player of the Week” honors, something he absolutely deserved after etching his name in history.

After missing a 49-yard field goal in the first quarter, Tucker bounced back in a big way, hitting from 39, 50, 32 and of course 66. His game against the Lions only further cements his legacy as one of the best players to ever kick at the NFL level, and he absolutely deserved to win “AFC Special Teams Player of the Week” honors for his Week 3 performance.
