The Baltimore Ravens suffered a crushing defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17 by the final score of 16-13. The team had a chance to win the game late on defense despite not being able to find consistently on offense, but a long touchdown drive from Pittsburgh put them ahead for good.
After the game, Baltimore inside linebacker Patrick Queen shared his thoughts from the game and what happened late against the Steelers. He was asked about the Steelers’ final touchdown drive, saying the team “didn’t make a play”, and it “shouldn’t have even gotten to that point”.
“We all didn’t make a play. We had a chance to get to the quarterback; we didn’t get to the quarterback. We had a chance to make a play; we just didn’t make the play. It shouldn’t have even gotten to that point, honestly. So, we’ve just got to go back to the drawing board, get better and try to win a game next week.”
The Ravens will now play in Week 18 against the Cincinnati Bengals in hopes that they can gather some momentum heading into the playoffs. They’ll need everything they can get, especially against a Cincinnati team that has seemed to hit their stride recently.
