The Baltimore Ravens’ running backs room should be able to help the team’s offense flourish in 2023. Both J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards are back for their second seasons after suffering knee injuries in 2021, and each player can make good things happen with the ball in their hands, especially when they’re healthy and feeling like themselves.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was asked if Edwards will be ready for minicamp, as he’s been seen on the sidelines working with the training staff. Harbaugh said that he believes Edwards will be partially ready for minicamp, but also mentioned that the running back is supposed to be fully ready for training camp.

“[For] minicamp, [Gus Edwards will be] partially ready, I’m hearing. [For] training camp, [he’s] supposed to be fully ready. Yes, he just wasn’t quite ready to get back out and practice yet – no setback. Maybe they’re being a little cautious, but that’s what they’re doing.”
