Ravens favored by 5.5 points over Vikings in Week 9

Do you think the Vikings can pull off the upset in Week 9?

In Week 8, the Vikings lost to the Cowboys and Dallas didn’t even need its starting quarterback to get the job done. Minnesota is too inconsistent for definitive contender status just yet.

The market shows that. According to Tipico Sportsbook, Baltimore is a 5.5-point favorite at home against Minnesota in Week 9.

The Ravens are 5-2. Not only that, but Baltimore’s division, the AFC North, is one of the toughest in the league this year. The Ravens need to win non-divisional games because the Browns, Bengals and Steelers are tough outs in any week.

Minnesota heads into the matchup without CB Patrick Peterson. Currently, CB Cameron Dantzler and others are dealing with injuries during practice this week. Baltimore isn’t a pass-heavy team, but QB Lamar Jackson could still find his receiving options for big plays against a depleted Vikings secondary.
