Ravens dynamic trio on offense ranked among the best in NFL

The Ravens have among the best offensive trios in the NFL

The Baltimore Ravens continue to build their offense after moving on from offensive coordinator Greg Roman and replacing him with Todd Monken. Some of the philosophies of the unit have changed, with more to be expected.

When listing off the best offensive trios in the NFL, Jared Dubin of CBS Sports put Baltimore in the No. 2 spot, only behind the Kansas City Chiefs. His trio was quarterback Lamar Jackson, running back Derrick Henry and tight end Mark Andrews, even mentioning Zay Flowers in his reasoning.

“The reigning MVP got himself a new backfield partner. Henry is old for a running back (30), has carried the ball 1,529 times over the last five years, and hit a career-low of 4.2 yards per carry in 2023. But he’s also a physical marvel, and like Barkley, has not played behind a good line or with a quarterback as good as Lamar. He’s still the type of guy who needs only a sliver of space to devastate a defense. And Andrews is one of the best pass-catching tight ends in the league, and likely still Jackson’s top target, even with the emergence of Zay Flowers.”

Adding Henry was a big get for Baltimore, and Andrews returning at full strength will be a big boost for the group. Everything goes as Jackson goes, and the trio flow together extremely well.
