The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-27 in Week 12 to bring their record to 7-4 on the season. It was a devastating loss for Baltimore after being up by seven points with less than two minutes left in the game. The team had a chance to win with a Justin Tucker 67-yard field goal, but it fell short as time expired.
Ravens defensive lineman Calais Campbell spoke to the media after the loss and was clearly frustrated with how the game ended. He said that the loss stung, especially because the defense had the game in their hands and let it slip away late.
“It’s stings. To have the game in our hands as a defense, we expect to win that every time. And we didn’t get it done.” pic.twitter.com/XpXuhyUR5a

“It stings, you know. To have the game in our hands as a defense, we expect to win that every time. We didn’t get it done. We knew they were talented. They have a lot of playmakers, and they fought hard to make the plays to win the game. We’ve got to go back and watch the tape and figure out how we can improve, but this one definitely stings.”
In all four of the Ravens’ losses, the team has blown a lead late in the contest. The loss in Week 12 wasn’t a double-digit lead, but the Baltimore defense allowed 18 points in the fourth quarter en route to their loss. They now have a 7-4 record and will look to get back on track in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos.
