The Baltimore Ravens are beat up in their secondary. The team lost star cornerback Marlon Humphrey last week to a season-ending injury. They will also be without cornerback Jimmy Smith this week. The Ravens have had a slew of injuries throughout their roster in 2021 and still remain at the top of the AFC North.
Their opponent this week, the Cleveland Browns, are a very good running team but have struggled to have a great passing attack. Quarterback Baker Mayfield has struggled with injuries of his own as well as issues surrounding his weapons. This week, Cleveland will be without a myriad of players in their passing game due to injury or COVID.
Despite those limits, Baltimore defenders are a little concerned about their pass defense and are hoping for a little help coming off Lake Erie today:
I just spoke with some Ravens players about how to make up for a depleted secondary.

Current weather forecasts have winds around 16 miles per hour with gusts up to 21. The wind could play a factor on a few throws and kicks but is not unusually high coming off the lake.
Hearing the Ravens defenders seemingly desperate for weather help is an interesting tidbit just before the game kicks off.
