The Baltimore Ravens have made sure to surround quarterback Lamar Jackson with weapons over the course of the 2023 offseason. They added wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Nelson Agholor in free agency while also drafting wideout Zay Flowers, not to mention switching offensive coordinators from Greg Roman to Todd Monken.
When asked about if he’s interested in seeing how Jackson can elevate his game with new pieces around him, Baltimore cornerback Marlon Humphrey was excited about the possibilities. He mentioned that everything looks good on paper, and he’s ready to put the work in and prove everything to everyone.
“Yes, he [Lamar Jackson] has got a lot of good pieces, obviously, but I’m really excited for how all that meshes. Obviously, we all know the talent Lamar is. [We have a] new ‘OC’ [offensive coordinator Todd Monken and] a lot of new things, so I think camp will be really good to get a good vision. Everything looks good on paper right now, and I’m so excited for us to just put in the work and really earn that and just go out and prove it.”
