Ravens CB Marcus Peters talks about how his 2022 offseason has gone so far

Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters discussed how his 2022 offseason has gone so far

The Baltimore Ravens lost one of their key contributors for the entirety of 2021 just days before the season was about to begin in cornerback Marcus Peters. The veteran tore his ACL in practice, and was clearly missed on the field by the team over the course of the year.

Peters recently spoke with Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, where the two talked about multiple different topics. The cornerback was asked about how he’s been doing physically as well as how his offseason has been going, and in response went into detail about going through injury and the support system that he has.

“It’s been going good, man. I’ve been taking it easy, I’ve been rehabbing, getting myself prepared to get back on the field with my teammates. It’s been a rough one, not because of just my leg or anything. I haven’t been injured ever in my life. Just me going through this, it showed me some things different about myself and put some things in perspective about life. It’s been cool. You feel me? I’m blessed to have a good family’s support, teammates’ support, organization’s support. Guys are there to push me to get back. I’m just happy to be in this position where I’m grinding to get back on the field.”
