Ravens CB Marcus Peters has missed being on the field with his teammates

Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters has missed being on the field with his teammates after missing all of the 2021 season

The injury bug hit the Baltimore Ravens in a massive way during the 2021 season.  One of the injuries that happened before the year was suffered by cornerback Marcus Peters, who tore his ACL in a practice leading up to the team’s Week 1 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders.

When asked the toughest part of his rehab and recovery Peters said that not being able to be on the field was the thing that came to mind. He talked about how he went to almost every home game despite missing the year and not being able to suit up himself.

“I guess just not being able to be on the field with my guys. I went to almost every home game last year and was there, present, with my family and with the team. Like I said, I wouldn’t say I really missed anything; it’s just I just missed being on the field with them.”

Getting Peters back will help the Ravens’ secondary in a big way, but making sure he’s ready to be on the field is the most important thing. Coming back from significant injuries can vary for different players in terms of recovery time and comfortability, so taking the cautious approach can be key. However it’s clear that the cornerback wants to be out on the field with his teammates, with that hopefully coming sooner rather than later.
