Ravens bring in veteran CB for workout on Tuesday

The Ravens brought in a veteran cornerback for a workout on Tuesday

The Baltimore Ravens have had bad injury luck over the past few seasons when it comes to the cornerback position. That trend unfortunately continued in Week 1 of the 2022 season, as they lost cornerback Kyle Fuller for the year with a torn ACL.

Baltimore built up cornerback depth over the course of the offseason, but general manager Eric DeCosta is always looking for ways to improve his roster. On Tuesday, the Ravens brought in veteran cornerback T.J. Carrie for a workout, who most recently played for the Indianapolis Colts, with stints also with the Cleveland Browns and the then-Oakland Raiders.

Carrie has played for eight NFL seasons, totaling 386 tackles, seven interceptions and six forced fumbles. With the loss of Fuller, Baltimore’s cornerback room becomes extremely young, so adding a veteran presence would add experience to the group.

Other veteran cornerbacks available includes Joe Haden, A.J. Bouye, Jimmy Smith and others.
