Historically, the Pittsburgh Steelers have had the number of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. Jackson has played just five games in his career against the Steelers and is 2-3 in those games. Nevertheless, any time there is a chance that one of the top players in the AFC North could be exiting to another team, it’s good news for the Steelers.
If the Ravens and Jackson continue to be a lifetime away on the terms of Jackson’s next contract, we could see Jackson traded soon. Jackson and Baltimore have reached a stalemate and the Ravens showed they could win last season without Jackson, which only hurts his leverage with the team.
Some quarterback-needy team will surely overpay for Jackson but who will it be? Join the conversation and let us know where you think Jackson will play next season.
Lamar Jackson’s counteroffers to the Ravens have frequently been speculated, but this is the first report I’m aware of that clearly states he countered for more fully guaranteed money than Deshaun Watson. https://t.co/cINE6gxUOB pic.twitter.com/sseFvl3Xwk
