The Baltimore Ravens selected wide receiver Rashod Bateman with the 27th overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft. He is expected to do big things on the field, but off of it he’s already made an impact for his family.
Bateman showed the love that he has for his mother, Lashonda Cromer, as he posted a picture on Instagram of a house that he bought for her.
Cromer worked tirelessly to support Bateman and his siblings, and now that hard work is coming full circle. She worked many different jobs as she moved her family around, always trying to make things the best that they could be for her kids. She would still go to Bateman’s football games, showing her support for her son.
Bateman reportedly signed a four-year contract worth $12.6 million.
