This week’s NFL Mic’d Up video had familiar face, and voice, for Wolverine fans. Former Michigan defensive lineman Rashan Gary wore the wire in his first full game back from an ACL tear that sidelined him for the second half of last season.
Gary put up six sacks through 8.5 games in 2022, and was limited for the first two contests of 2023. Sunday’s full return was legendary, however.
Gary put up three sacks in a dominant performance that was recognized with a game ball in the locker room. Gary was understandably emotional after the win.
“All I’m saying — it’s an honor and privilege every Sunday to go to war with y’all,” Gary exclaimed through tears.
Gary’s portion of the video begins at 14:01.
