On Wednesday, the Toronto Raptors announced that rookie Malachi Flynn has been assigned to the Raptors 905 in the NBA G League ahead of the start of the 2021 season.
Flynn, this season, has played sparingly with the Raptors, averaging 2.2 points and 1.2 assists in 13 appearances. He has not played significant time since logging 14 minutes in a 20-point win at home over the Miami Heat on Jan. 22.
With Flynn joining the Raptors 905, the move will give him the opportunity to play steady minutes and stay in a rhythm, and continue his development.
