2. Week 9: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Dallas Cowboys
Minkah Fitzpatrick vs. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix
Fitzpatrick enters his third year in the NFL, second with the Steelers. Clinton-Dix is entering his seventh year in the league and will be playing for his fourth team.
What do these two safeties have in common besides their Alabama football roots? They have both been moved around during their careers.
Fitzpatrick will look to show that he wants to have a consistent home, not only in Pittsburgh, but in the free safety position, as well. He was moved all around the defense while in Miami, which he did not enjoy.
Clinton-Dix needs to show the league that he’s still the same safety he was in Green Bay. After spending the last two seasons on three teams, he will try to show Dallas that he can put the work in to earn a stable and secure position.
