Derek Carr’s time with the Las Vegas Raiders is effectively over, his agent said in a statement posted to Twitter just moments after Carr posted a thank you letter to Raider Nation.
His likely departure was evident once the Raiders decided to bench him in the final weeks of the season to evaluate Jarrett Stidham. Now, the team is in the process of evaluating the trade market for Carr, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported.
