Ranking the 5 best wide receivers in the AFC West in 2019

1. Courtland Sutton, Broncos

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The best receiver in the division this season has been none other than Courtland Sutton of the Denver Broncos. Entering the season, it was Emmanuel Sanders, who was the team’s top receiver. But Sutton played so well that the team was comfortable trading away Sanders knowing they had a star ready to take his place.

Despite playing with three different quarterbacks this season, Sutton has already reached 906 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He’s averaging nearly 17 yards per reception, and his combination of size and speed has allowed him to draw several pass interference calls, such as the one last week against the Chargers.

Sutton is just starting to come into his own, and if the Broncos can find consistent play at the quarterback position, don’t be surprised if Sutton develops into one of the league’s best ten receivers in the upcoming years.
