The Philadelphia 76ers will enter the 2021 NBA playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and with that privilege, it means they get a week off before the postseason begins. They also do not know who their first-round opponent will be. That will be determined by the play-in tournament beginning on Tuesday.
The Sixers will face the Boston Celtics, the Washington Wizards, the Charlotte Hornets or the Indiana Pacers. They are the East’s four teams in the play-in tournament. The Sixers swept the season series from the Celtics, Hornets and Wizards. They took two out of the three matchups with Indiana. They did not have Joel Embiid for the game that they lost.
We are going to rank those four matchups for Philadelphia from toughest to least toughest. Granted, the Sixers should get past all four of those teams with relative ease, but there will be some matchups that will give them a battle.
