Nine days after his 24th birthday, Jordan had his way with the Nets in Chicago. He scored 58 points on 64% shooting (16-for-25) while going 26-for-27 at the free-throw line (96.3%).
This was the first and only time he eclipsed the half-century mark against the Nets and one of three times he would ever scored 40-plus against New Jersey.
