Teams who don’t buy into the notion of metric, analytics and the importance of athleticism all over the field are the ones who fall behind.
To sort all this out we look to Relative Athletic Score or RAS. A metric created by Kent Lee Platte, it assigns a numerical value between 1 and 10 in a variety of categories. This gives you the best apples-to-apples comparison between players and rosters.
