Rams-Giants betting line moves again, L.A. now favored by 8.5 points

The spread for Rams-Giants has bounced around quite a bit over the last week due to the injury news coming from New York.

The betting line for this weekend’s Rams-Giants game has bounced around quite a bit since last Friday. When the odds were first released, the Rams were favored by 7.5 points on the road. Then Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley and Kenny Golladay all got hurt in the Giants’ 44-20 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday, causing the spread to spike in the Rams’ favor.

That left Los Angeles as a 10.5-point favorite on Monday, the highest the spread got this week. But as Jones has made progress in the concussion protocol and with Kadarius Toney, Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton all looking likely to play, the spread has once again shifted – this time in the Giants’ direction.

As of Friday, the Rams are now 8.5-point favorites, according to Tipico Sportsbook. The over/under sits at 48.5 after opening at 50.5 and dropping as low as 47.5 on Monday. On the money line, the Rams are -420, meaning a $420 bet would return a profit of $100.

The Rams are 3-2 against the spread this season, covering against the Bears, Bucs and Seahawks. The Giants are only 2-3 ATS and have suffered two losses of at least 14 points this season.
