The injury news went from bad to worse for the Rams this week. Allen Robinson was already ruled out for Sunday’s game with a foot injury, but after the 26-10 loss, Sean McVay revealed that Robinson actually needs surgery.

It will sideline him the rest of the season, ending his first year with the Rams after just 10 games played. Robinson caught 33 passes for 339 yards and three touchdowns in his first season in Los Angeles, a disappointing year all around.

“He was having some soreness in his foot and then we tried to inject it and see if he could push through and when you end up getting a CT scan, it revealed something that is gonna prevent him from being available the rest of the year,” McVay said. “He’s gonna have to get surgery on that foot. It’s unfortunate but we didn’t find that out until Friday after practice.”

With Cooper Kupp also out at least the next four weeks, the Rams will be without their top two playmakers at wide receiver for a while, and possibly for the rest of the season.
