The Rams have already begun making roster moves ahead of training camp. The team announced on Tuesday that wide receiver and return specialist Nsimba Webster has been waived.
It’s a somewhat surprising move at this point in the offseason with training camp right around the corner. Webster made some explosive plays in the return game last season but he also committed too many errors.
Joe DeCamillis is taking over as the special teams coordinator and is seeking an upgrade – specifically someone who can score touchdowns as a returner, which is what he said when he was hired.
Transaction: Rams waived Nsimba Webster.

Raymond Calais, DeSean Jackson, Tutu Atwell and several others are in contention to be the team’s return specialist.
