The Los Angeles Rams continue to tweak their roster during training camp, making a move on Thursday after two other transactions were made on Wednesday. The team announced it has waived defensive back Dayan Lake, who was signed to the 90-man roster in June.
The Rams signed Lake as an undrafted free agent last year out of BYU. He was waived as part of final roster cuts last September and signed with the Patriots’ practice squad in December, however he was cut about a week later.
Lake had an uphill climb to making the 53-man roster anyway, with players such as Jalen Ramsey, Darious Williams, David Long Jr., Robert Rochell and Donte Deayon ahead of him on the depth chart.
