Rams vs. Seahawks injury report: Latest updates, news for Week 9

All the latest updates and news on the Rams’ injury report ahead of their Week 9 game vs. the Seahawks

There weren’t any major injury concerns for the Los Angeles Rams coming into the week but things have gotten a little bit worse ahead of Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. Ethan Evans and Puka Nacua were both added to the injury report on Thursday and both missed practice on Friday – Evans because of an illness and Nacua due to a knee injury suffered Thursday.

The Seahawks have injury problems of their own, starting the week with 16 players on the report. DK Metcalf has already been ruled out, as have Abraham Lucas, Cameron Young and Noah Fant. Ernest Jones popped up on the injury report Friday with a neck injury and he’s questionable to play against his former team.

Below is the final update for both teams after Friday’s practice, with injury designations for the players who are banged up heading into this weekend’s game.

Seahawks injury report

Ethan Evans injury update

Evans missed practice for the second straight day and has been ruled out. The Rams will decide whether to elevate Ty Zentner or Ryan Sanborn from the practice squad; both were signed in the last two days.

Puka Nacua injury update

Nacua “banged his knee” in practice on Thursday and was a non-participant Friday. He’s officially questionable to play against the Seahawks, so he hasn’t yet been ruled out. McVay said he wouldn’t bet against Nacua suiting up.

Jordan Whittington injury update

Whittington was limited once again and he’s questionable for the second straight week. He did not play last week against the Vikings because of the lingering shoulder injury.

Kam Curl injury update

Curl suffered a knee injury in Week 8 that knocked him out of the game for a bit, but he was able to return. He was limited all week in practice and is questionable to play.

Joe Noteboom injury update

The Rams are opting not to activate Noteboom from injured reserve this week, so he won’t play against the Seahawks. McVay said he’s “making good progress,” though.
