After clinching the NFC West last week and locking up a playoff berth, the Los Angeles Rams don’t have much to play for in Week 18. They can secure the No. 3 seed with a win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, but they can’t drop further than No. 4 – and that will only happen if they lose and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win.
With that in mind, the Rams plan to rest starters in this weekend’s finale, including Matthew Stafford. He won’t play against the Seahawks, opening the door for Jimmy Garoppolo to make his first appearance with the Rams. It’s unclear which other starters will rest on Sunday, as the team is currently working through those decisions.
Here’s the first injury report of the week, which won’t be nearly as important as next week’s heading into the Rams’ playoff game.

Rob Havenstein injury update
Sean McVay said Wednesday that Havenstein won’t play against the Seahawks due to a shoulder injury suffered in practice last week. He’s “tilting toward” being available for the start of the playoffs, however.
Jordan Whittington injury update
Whittington popped up on the injury report with an ankle issue but he was only limited, so he should be fine for the playoffs. He’s someone who could play this Sunday and get reps at wide receiver.
