Rams vs. Eagles injury report: Rob Havenstein upgraded, DeVonta Smith misses 2nd practice

Rob Havenstein and 3 others were upgraded on Thursday, while DeVonta Smith remains out of practice for the Eagles

After holding a walk-through on Wednesday, the Rams had a normal practice Thursday in preparation for this weekend’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. It was an important day for a few injured players on Los Angeles’ side, including Rob Havenstein.

Havenstein was one of four players who had their participation levels improve after Wednesday’s walk-through. Havenstein went from DNP to limited, while three others went from limited to full.

On the Eagles’ side of things, two players missed practice, including DeVonta Smith. Two others were limited, and Jalen Hurts was upgraded to a full participation so he’s certain to play this weekend.

Eagles injury report

Rob Havenstein injury update

Havenstein was upgraded to limited on Thursday after being estimated as a non-participant in Wednesday’s walk-through. That’s a good sign for the Rams right tackle, but he’s not certain to play just yet.

Cobie Durant injury update

Durant was also upgraded from limited to full. There aren’t any real concerns about his chances of playing on Sunday.

Joe Noteboom injury update

Noteboom was a full participant on Thursday after missing last week’s game. If Havenstein is out, it’s still likely that the Rams will start Warren McClendon Jr. over Noteboom.

Kevin Dotson injury update

Dotson missed practice with an illness so it’s uncertain what his status looks like for Sunday’s game. Sean McVay will provide an update on Friday.

DeVonta Smith injury update

Smith has now missed two practices in a row due to a hamstring injury, putting his status for this week’s game in doubt. It seems possible the Eagles will be without their No. 2 receiver on Sunday night, which would be a big loss.
