The Los Angeles Rams are signing icker Matt Gay to their active roster from the Indianapolis Colts practice squad, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Gay, who has been on and off the Colts practice squad for the last few weeks, will be filling the void of Kai Forbath, whom the Rams placed on the injured reserve list following their Week 10 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
The Colts have kept Gay on the practice squad as an insurance policy behind undrafted rookie Rodrigo Blankenship, who has been incredible for Indy this season.
But it seems now, they will be rolling without just one kicker as Gay will head to L.A. to replace Forbath on an NFC contender.
