The Rams and Raiders are going to get to know each other well over the next four days, spending a lot of time together on the field. It was previously announced that the Rams and Raiders would hold two joint practices before they face each other in the preseason on Saturday, and we now know what the practice schedule will be.

The two joint practices will be on Wednesday and Thursday, with the schedule being as follows:

Wednesday: Practice from 10 a.m. PT to 12 p.m. PT

Post-practice new conferences:

  • Sean McVay
  • Matthew Stafford

Thursday: Practice from 10 a.m. PT to 12 p.m. PT

Post-practice press conferences:

  • Sean McVay
  • Aaron Donald
  • Jalen Ramsey

The Rams and Raiders will then play in Week 2 of the preseason on Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET at SoFi Stadium. The Rams’ starters won’t play in the preseason game, but they should get plenty of work in during these joint practices, which McVay puts a lot of value in.

Then the preseason game will be reserved mostly for backups and players on the bubble fighting to make the 53-man roster.
