Rams signed 9 players to reserve/future contracts

The Rams signed nine players to reserve/future contracts, keeping them on the 90-man offseason roster

Teams are only allowed to carry 53 players on the roster during the regular season, but in the offseason, rosters expand to 90 players. And as soon as a team is eliminated from playoff contention or the postseason, they’re able to sign players to reserve/future contracts, keeping them on the roster for the spring and summer.

The Rams signed nine players to reserve/future contracts this week after wrapping up their 2022 season, and many of them were already on the practice squad. The nine players are Roger Carter, T.J. Carter, T.J. Carter, Richard LeCounte, Max Pircher, Jaquarii Roberson, Jerreth Sterns, Brayden Thomas and Zach VanValkenburg.

These players will have a chance to compete for a spot on the roster next season, provided they aren’t cut at some point during the offseason.
