Rams set 2020 preseason schedule, open SoFi Stadium Aug. 14

The Rams will open SoFi Stadium against the Saints on Aug. 14.

The Los Angeles Rams have finally announced the dates and times of their 2020 preseason games, all of which will be played at new stadiums. For whatever reason, it took a few weeks for the schedule to be made official, but we now know when each game will be played.

  • Week 1 vs. Saints: Friday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. PT
  • Week 2 at Chargers: Saturday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. PT
  • Week 3 vs. Broncos: Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. PT
  • Week 4 at Raiders: Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. PT

As you can see, they’ll have three games at SoFi Stadium, the first of which will be held on Friday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. PT. It’s the first event on the SoFi Stadium calendar after three summer concerts were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It remains to be seen if the preseason will take place as scheduled or if the NFL will have to trim it due to government guidelines. The Rams announced that if games are canceled, refunds will be issued.

If games are cancelled or played without spectators, any tickets purchased directly from the Rams or through Ticketmaster for Rams home games will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation or decision to play without spectators. Tickets purchased on the resale marketplace will be subject to resale marketplace policies.

The Rams kick off the regular season on Sept. 13 in prime time against the Dallas Cowboys, which will be played at SoFi Stadium.
