The Los Angeles Rams will be without rookie pass rusher Terrell Lewis on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. After initially being listed as doubtful on Friday, the Rams downgraded him to out on Saturday.
Lewis experienced some swelling in his knee this week, which needed to be drained. It’s the same knee that he had surgery on in college and required a scope on after the team suspected he might have an infection from a previous procedure.
Also, the Rams have downgraded OLB Terrell Lewis (knee) from doubtful to OUT for Sunday's game vs. 49ers.

Sean McVay said he doesn’t know the extent of the issue for Lewis or how long he’ll be out, though it’s certainly concerning that his durability has already become a concern this early.
Lewis began the year on the reserve/non-football injury list with a knee issue and has since been part of the outside linebacker rotation with Justin Hollins, Samson Ebukam and Jachai Polite.
Expect all three of those players to get more reps in Lewis’ absence on Sunday.
