Do you think Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay is excited to come back to Washington and coach in his former stomping grounds this weekend?
Sunday’s game between the Washington Football Team and LA Rams will be McVay’s first trip back to the nation’s capital since leaving his place as the offensive coordinator in D.C. to take on the head coaching job in LA. Though the two teams played in McVay’s first season as a head coach — Washington won, 27-20 — this will be the first time he steps foot on FedEx Field in a few years.
To hype up the matchup, the Rams released a video on Twitter that seems to give the sense that McVay has an ax to grind.

McVay remarked earlier this week that it may not feel much like a homecoming, considering there are only a handful of players and coaches that are still in Washington that were there when he was a coach. Regardless, I’m sure he would like nothing more than to come back to D.C. and stick it to his former team, proving that he made the right decision in leaving.
As if anyone is questioning that decision, anyhow.
