For the fourth time this season, the Los Angeles Rams attempted to win their third straight game. And for the fourth straight time, they came up short. Los Angeles was stunned by the Jets on Sunday at home, losing 23-20 and dropping its record to 9-5 on the year.
The Rams still have a good chance to win the NFC West by winning their last two games against the Seahawks and Cardinals, but that doesn’t seem so easy after Sunday’s result. The Seahawks can take the division in Week 16 by beating the Rams in Seattle, and they’ll enter that game as the favorites.
According to BetMGM, the Seahawks are favored by 2.5 points over the Rams in this pivotal NFC West rematch. The Rams won the first meeting of the season, 23-16 in Week 10, but Seattle has gone 4-1 since then – against a weaker group of teams, however.
The Rams money line sit at +125, meaning a $100 wager on L.A. to win would return a profit of $125 if they win outright. The Seahawks money line is -150; a $100 bet on Seattle would return a profit of $100.
The over/under is on the lower side considering the firepower of both offenses, coming in at 46.5 points – tied for the lowest of any Week 16 game with lines currently out.
Since Sean McVay took over in 2017, the Rams are 5-2 against Seattle and have won the last two by a combined score of 51-28.
