Rams open as 3.5-point favorites over injury-riddled Ravens

The Rams are once again road favorites this week, with the line opening at -3.5 over the Ravens.

The Rams will be on the road for the second week in a row, and once again, they’ll be favored over their opponent. After knocking off the Vikings 30-23 on Sunday, the Rams opened as 3.5-point favorites against the Ravens in Week 17.

That game will be played in Baltimore against an injury-ravaged Ravens team that still doesn’t know who its quarterback will be. The over/under is set at 45.5 points and the Rams money line is -160.

The Ravens are coming off a 41-21 loss to the Bengals on Sunday, a game in which Josh Johnson was their starting quarterback with Lamar Jackson injured and Tyler Huntley on the COVID-19 list. There’s a chance Jackson will be back in time for Week 17 but that’s far from certain.

The last time the Rams and Ravens squared off was in 2019 and it wasn’t particularly close. The Ravens won that game 45-6 in what was the worst loss of Sean McVay’s coaching career thus far. He and the Rams will be looking to avenge that loss on Sunday in Baltimore, with kickoff set for 4:25 p.m. ET.

The Rams are now 8-7 against the spread this season, while the Ravens come in at 7-8 ATS. They’re currently riding a four-game losing streak, which is quite the contrast to the Rams and their four-game winning streak.
