Rams only slight road favorites vs. Vikings in Week 16

The Rams are only favored by 3.5 points over the Vikings in Week 16 as they try to extend their winning streak to four games.

Having ripped off three straight wins since the start of December, the Los Angeles Rams are now in great shape in the NFC and have tied the Arizona Cardinals at the top of the division. Another win in Week 16 and a loss by the Cardinals will put the Rams in the driver’s seat, but that’s easier said than done.

The Rams will be on a short week after playing on Tuesday night, traveling to Minnesota to face the Vikings on Sunday afternoon. It’s an early 1 p.m. ET kickoff, too, which only makes things even tougher.

Oddsmakers still list the Rams as the favorites, though. According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Rams are favored by 3.5 points over the Vikings. The over/under is 49.5 points, which is tied for the highest of any game in Week 16.

The Rams have been favored in nine of their last 10 games, with the only exception being last week’s contest against the Cardinals when they were missing several starters. On paper, they look like the better team compared to the Vikings, but this won’t be an easy win by any means.

The Vikings run the ball well and could get Adam Thielen back from injury this week, which opens things up on offense. They’ve already beaten the Packers this season, too, which the Rams were unable to do.
