After releasing a relatively clean and short injury report on Wednesday, things got a little bit more concerning for the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday.
The Rams added Puka Nacua to the report with an oblique injury, holding him out of practice completely. Jason Taylor II was also limited with a groin injury, and both Joe Noteboom and Ahkello Witherspoon were full participants.
The real worry for Los Angeles now is Nacua’s status for Week 2 against the 49ers. He was tied for the team lead with 199 yards receiving on Sunday, catching a game-high 10 passes on 15 targets.
He came out of the game clean without an injury, so this ailment must’ve popped up on Thursday before practice. With Cooper Kupp still out, the Rams desperately need all hands on deck at wideout this weekend.
For the 49ers, there are no real concerns besides Dre Greenlaw, who was limited, and Samuel Womack, who missed Thursday’s practice with a knee injury.
