The Los Angeles Rams have sustained a handful of injuries to begin the 2022 season and they’ll be a bit banged up entering their upcoming matchup with the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4. There have been a couple of players added to the injury report for the Rams this week, with their statuses now being known for Monday’s showdown with the 49ers.
When Los Angeles squares off with San Francisco on Monday Night Football to conclude Week 4, Brian Allen and David Edwards won’t be available on the offensive line. Allen is still recovering from a knee injury he suffered in Week 1 while Edwards entered the concussion protocol on Saturday, leading to him being ruled out.
Besides Allen and Edwards, David Long Jr. and Cobie Durant have been ruled out at the cornerback position. Long and Durant were both inactive in Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals, so neither has made enough progress with their respective injuries to return to the field.
The good news for the Rams is that Derion Kendrick was able to be cleared from the concussion protocol and will likely start for the second straight week amid all of the injuries in the secondary. Another positive development is the fact that Jordan Fuller is expected to play in Week 4 after logging a full practice on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the 49ers are going to be without Trent Williams and Azeez Al-Shaair on Monday Night Football. Danny Gray is also trending toward being sidelined while Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw are questionable to suit up.
