Sean McVay said the Rams came out of their loss to the San Francisco 49ers clean with no notable injuries to report besides the typical bumps and bruises. Those minor issues were enough to keep two key players out of practice on Thursday, though.
Darrell Henderson (thigh) and Tyler Higbee (hand) both missed the first practice of the week, being listed as non-participants Thursday. McVay didn’t give any indications that either player got hurt against the 49ers, so hopefully they’re just minor ailments.
They were the only two players listed with injuries. Andrew Whitworth and Aaron Donald got a day of rest, as they typically do to start the week.
There are far more injury concerns on the Bears’ side, with several key players sitting on Thursday. Some were not injury-related, but Buster Skrine, Akiem Hicks and Deon Bush are players to watch as the week progresses.
With the game taking place on Monday night, the Rams will practice next on Friday and Saturday before getting Sunday off.
