The Los Angeles Rams will take on the Arizona Cardinals at less than full strength. They will not have their starting quarterback, leading rusher and leading receiver. They will have their No. 2 rusher, though.
Running back Cam Akers will indeed play against the Cardinals, as he is active for the game. Los Angeles released its inactive list. The players are:
- QB Jared Goff
- QB Bryce Perkins
- OL Brian Allen
- LB Micah Kiser
- WR Trishton Jackson
John Wolford will make his NFL debut at quarterback for the Rams and Blake Bortles, signed this week off the Denver Broncos practice squad, will serve as his backup.
Akers will lead the running game but will certainly be less than 100%. Malcolm Brown will back him up. When the Rams beat the Cardinals 38-28 in Week 13, Akers had 21 carries for 72 yards and Brown had three for minus-3 yards.
