Rams inactives: Bobby Brown a healthy scratch, Justin Lawler active

Here are the 6 players who won’t be suiting up for the Rams tonight.

The Los Angeles Rams will take the field shortly for their first game of the regular season, hosting the Chicago Bears at SoFi Stadium on Sunday Night Football. As they’re required to do each week, the Rams announced their inactive players for this matchup, a group of players who are on the 53-man roster but won’t be suiting up.

A’Shawn Robinson is active and recovered from his recent knee procedure, which the Rams described as minor. He’ll get the start at defensive end in Michael Brockers’ old spot, alongside Sebastian Joseph-Day and Aaron Donald.

Justin Lawler and Tyler Hall are also active after they were called up from the practice squad on Saturday. JuJu Hughes and J.R. Reed are both inactive, as is rookie Bobby Brown III. They are all healthy scratches.

The Rams are going with just two active quarterbacks, making Bryce Perkins inactive. Ben Skowronek is out due to his forearm injury, while Alaric Jackson is a healthy scratch.

On the Bears side, Eddie Goldman is inactive, as expected. He was doubtful after injuring his knee on Monday, missing the final three days of practice this week. That’s a big blow for Chicago, considering Goldman’s value along the defensive line.

Wide receiver Darnell Mooney is active, however, so he’ll be the Bears’ No. 2 receiver opposite Allen Robinson. He entered the game listed as questionable.
