Natrez Patrick wasn’t out of a job for long. The second-year linebacker was waived by the Rams on Tuesday afternoon and on Wednesday, the team re-signed him to the practice squad. That always seemed to be their intention after cutting Cohl Cabral from the practice squad to open up a spot for Patrick if he cleared waivers.
Patrick takes the last available spot on the practice squad, so if the Rams choose to sign a player, someone will need to be waived.
Patrick has appeared in seven games this season but has yet to play a snap on defense. He’s strictly played special teams, where he’s made one total tackle.
LB Natrez Patrick has been re-signed to the Rams practice squad, per a team spokesperson.
