Rams are signing C Dylan McMahon off Eagles’ practice squad

The Rams are adding depth along their offensive line by signing C Dylan McMahon off the Eagles’ practice squad

Desperately needing depth along their offensive line, the Los Angeles Rams have added some help. They’re signing center Dylan McMahon off the Eagles’ practice squad and to their active roster, according to his agent Whitney Holtzman.

The Rams will be required to keep McMahon on their active roster for a minimum of three weeks, or at least pay him three game checks if he’s waived before the three weeks are up.

McMahon was a sixth-round pick by the Eagles this year, going 190th overall out of NC State. He was waived by Philadelphia on Aug. 27 but was signed to the practice squad.

The Rams are expected to be without Steve Avila for the next 4-6 weeks after he suffered a knee injury that will likely land him on IR. Beaux Limmer will start at center but McMahon can provide some depth behind him as a backup.
