Rams are 5.5-point home underdogs vs. Raiders in Week 14

The Rams are once again sizable home underdogs this week with the Raiders visiting

The Los Angeles Rams had rarely been underdogs in the last five seasons with Sean McVay as their head coach, but they’re getting used to their opponents being favored this year. For the fourth straight week, the Rams are viewed as the underdogs by sportsbooks.

According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Las Vegas Raiders are 5.5-point favorites over the Rams this week. That game is scheduled for Thursday night, so it’s a quick turnaround for both teams. The over/under is set at 43.5, while the Rams are +200 on the money line ($100 bet wins $200).

The last two weeks, the Rams were 16-ponit underdogs to the Chiefs and were getting 6.5 points from the Seahawks on Sunday. They lost by 16 to the Chiefs and only lost narrowly to the Seahawks, 27-23, so they’re 1-0-1 against the spread in their last two games.

That hasn’t helped them climb out of the basement as the worst team against the spread all year, though. They’re just 3-7-2 ATS in their 12 games, struggling to even keep games close when they aren’t favored.

Currently on a six-game losing streak, the Rams have sunk to 3-9 on the year, while the Raiders are riding a three-game winning streak into this one, remaining in the hunt in the AFC. Thursday’s game will have little meaning for the Rams’ playoff hopes, but it’s a huge matchup for the Raiders.
